 This tea mug is ideal for enjoying unfermented or lightly fermented teas such as Green, White, Pouchong, Jasmine, Dragonwell, Maofeng, and Pi Lo Chun without oversteeping them. Made of ceramic, the white background allows full appreciation of the tea leaves as they steep in the infuser. Painted on one side of the mug is an orange koi fish and a gray koi fish on the other. The mug is accompanied by a lid, infuser and saucer; all of which are made of white ceramic. The lid can be inverted and used as a dish to hold the infuser and its steeped leaves. Included with set is a gift bag and a gift box.
To use this mug, place the infuser in the mug and spoon tea leaves into the infuser. Pour water over the leaves and cover with lid to allow steeping. After 3 to 5 minutes, remove the lid and infuser to enjoy a good cup of tea. Tea leaves may be steeped multiple times.
